Everything was amazing. The flavors were tasty and delicious. rincon did not disappoint. We hade Juavos Rancheros and Bestica platter...

This is my go to spot every time I come to big Bear. Everything I've had so far has been a 10/10!! You walk in and the server is great such a friendly, nice guy! I've ever had anything bad from here, each plate I've gotten has been beyond delicious. The ambience is great. Everyone is friendly. The Michelada is delicious. You must try this place if you're in big bear hands-down favorite Mexican spot!

This Message by far is the most personal I write. I had the pleasure of going to their other place in San Diego and it was incredible. How could I believe it gets better? It does. This family is the most well raised I have ever seen. The food they serve is from the soul of Jalisco. Edger made this experience the best Mexican food I have ever had in the USA. God blessed this family with such love and it shows from the second you're treated with the warmest welcome upon entering. Please give them a shot. Do not miss the michelada

El Rincon was recommended by friends of ours who are locals. I had Carne en su Jugo (stewed finely cut beef in a beef whole pinto bean broth) and my husband had the crispy chicken tacos. The tacos were stuffed with delicious shredded chicken. Oh, and to start off our table was treated with complimentary chips and authentic pinto bean dip. The service is great; even the chef came over to greet and ask if we needed anything. I highly recommend you stop by and enjoy an authentic Mexican meal. I wish I were a local Big Bear resident Food: 5/5 | Service:

Went to this place because of the positive reviews it had. Let me just start telling you guys, it was amazing amazing!! As soon as we walked in for breakfast the customer service was excellent. The waiter was just so polite. We ordered the chilaquiles divorces the taste was so delicious and the burrito my goodness the biggest burrito I've ever seen. I will give them more than 5 stars if I could. Loved it and will definitely be back!

All the food our group ordered was amazing!!!! I ordered the menudo it def was authentic and corn tortillas were home made!!!!! My friend said his Chicken mole killers were amazing but MOST OF ALL EDGAR WAS AN AMAZING SERVER!!!! Very polite and kind thanks Edgar :) Thanks for the coffee refills papa :)

Was told about this place from a local that had really good Mexican food, so figured hey, let's give it a shot and see what it's all about .. being from Long Beach and living in Los Angeles. We're all kind of spoiled with some good Mexican food places so while on vacation in Big Bear I figured Hey let's see what this place has to offer. I ordered the Carne Asada chimichanga, which was good but I don't like how they put the salsa on top of the chimichanga which makes it not crispy and also the Carne asada was kind of chewy. It wasn't bad, but it could've been better in my opinion. The Machaca burrito was good loaded with the eggs beef, peppers and onions. Had a very good taste. They do have some vegetarian options and my wife chose the soyrizo torta that she says was really good. we also got the beans and chips appetizer, which I was not a fan of the beans were super watered down and kind of spicy and was not expecting that. In my opinion, the beans needed to be a little thicker. Service was super friendly the people were very helpful, and the restaurant inside was spacious even though I did take my food to go spot for Mexican food in Big Bear. Give it a try see what you think.

In short, if you chose not to continue on with reading. A WIN. Delicious. We were looking for a smaller restaurant to support, as we normally do. This was not a disappointing experience. The Carne En Su Jugo was a delicious and luxurious flavored soup. Maybe a simple soup on the outside, but full of flavor. With a side of beans and extra four tortillas, you can't go wrong. The wife had menudo and was full of large pieces of tripe and pieces of hominy. The service was spot on. Not sure if this is a newer opening, but they sure know how to be attentive and make sure you are being taken care of kind of being at mom's house, for anyone that knows how mom spoils you. The region of the food was from Jalisco, and we will be back. Cute spot. Delicious food and great service. Treated you like family here.

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by 2 smiling faces. My boy commented on the seated bear, as if he was waiting for a table, so 1 of the servers had a friendly chat with him. Next thing we know, he brought the bear to sit with us, saying, "he asked to sit near his new friend!" The place is unsuspecting... from the outside, it just looks like any other diner. Inside is full of "Big Bear" culture, and the 2 big screens didn't hurt. It always good when the people working there actually seem as if they LIKE being there! They start you off with chips & warm beans with cotija cheese. The Big Bear Burrito was bigger than my forearm! -But my son said it was "soo good," he couldn't stop eating it! We also got the chile verde & the mole chilaquiles (divorciados) with asada & eggs over easy. This dish was perfect... couldn't have been better. I'll enjoy the rest tonight because it was too much to finish in 1 sitting! I was hoping for cafe de olla, but staff said they don't have it; they're working on it. We'll be back next time we're in big bear... for the great food, service with a smile, and to see if they have cafe de olla yet.
